What John Wick Taught Me About Being A Better Family Man

Why are we as men, drawn to action movie heroes? Well, it’s because we want to be able to do what the action hero does. We want to have the ability to beat up the bad guys effortlessly and rescue the girl at the end.

You remember all those action movies from the 90s and 80s. From the Arnold Schwarzenegger, Van Damm, Chuck Norris, and Sylvester Stallone movies, they were all entertaining to watch. I grew up on all of those movies.

However, as time went on and I got older, it seemed like that whole Action Movie genre had sort of died and it wasn’t the same. That is, until the John Wick movies came into play.

I’m a huge fan of these films and this character. And for this week’s episode, I wanted to do something a little different and dive into some of John Wick’s character traits.
