What The Red Pill Movement And Church Get Wrong About Being A Good Man | Interview w/ Ryan King

We all have a dad story about how our father failed us or empowered us to be better men.

And a lot of us in my generation didn’t grow up with a father. Or if they did, their father wasn’t really there for them or had very little influence on them.

Sometimes we get caught up in playing the blame game for what our father didn’t do and we stay there, without moving on.

I know I did this for a large part of my life. And I was angry at my dad for all of his failures when it came to me, my younger brother and my younger half sister.

It took me a while to realize that, he was operating with the only examples and resources he had at his disposal. There was no other man there trying to show him how to be a better dad, husband or man. He couldn’t jump on YouTube and type that in to get an answer. We’re pretty fortunate to live in the time we do.

On this episode, I had the privilege and honor to interview a man who I’ve been learning from through his content on Instagram. His name is Ryan King.

Ryan has a rapidly growing and successful Instagram page called The Wisdom Of Kings that speaks to masculinity and what it means to be a good man. Growing up heavily involved in Sports as a Baseball Pitcher, he learned a lot of hard lessons, but most importantly he learned how to always bet on himself and meet any challenge head on.

Ryan told everyone, including his wife, at the age of 25 that he would make enough money and retire by the age of 35. Of course no one believed him, but the man made it happen anyways. Personally, that’s what I really admire about Ryan is his level of certainty and confidence that he will be successful in anything he tackles.
